Mindtricks (n) - a combination of dance styles incorporated into one; including but not limited to breakdancing, hip-hop, house, popping, locking, and freestyle.

Based in the city by the bay, Mindtricks has already created a tremendous BUZZ across the nation.  From being featured on a national Pepsi commercial starring MTV’s Ananda Lewis, concerts with major recording artists, and a clothing sponsorship from FOX Racing, their different styles of dance are put into routines that excite and inspire featuring some of the hottest music in the old / new school of hip-hop and house, from the west coast to the east.  It is this creativity that sets Mindtricks apart from the rest.  The personality and energy exhibited in their stage performance consumes their audiences and keeps them coming back.

Formerly known as the Jedi Clan, these 13 friends have been together for over 10 years now.  “We’ve done quite a few performances in our time and even though we each have other interests, we always find time to get together, create, practice and execute our shows” says Mindtricks.  The one unique quality of our group is that they are all friends first.  They have never held auditions to find new members, usually meeting people through shows or events, showcases and battles.  It was always the friendship that was formed first and it shows when they perform.   “Our biggest reward is the applause and appreciation that crowds have given to us.  We feed off of it, it makes all the hard work and time worth it.  As long as we keep getting love, we’ll be here”.

With their first video “Mindtricks 2000”, already selling off the shelves, look out for their second video dropping soon, showcasing the lives and performances of this exceptional dance group.
